VO Atlanta 2015 Set This March
From the 12th to the 15th of March, hundreds of voice-actors, coaches, and industry leaders from around the globe will converge in Atlanta for the third time for the annual VO Atlanta.
Dubbed as the largest multi-day voiceover conference on the east coast, the conference attracts voiceover talents, coaches and other resources who work in the industry from all over the world. The annual event is represented with more than 20 states in America and from countries like UK, Australia, Canada, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Argentina.
The conference aims to provide a venue for those who work behind the scenes and under the radar. VO Atlanta gives them the opportunity to have face to face interaction with different levels of players in the industry. Giving participants a place to “connect, grow, and learn while having fun and enjoying the Atlanta area.”
The conference has scheduled a great line up of speakers like Edge Studio heads David Goldberg (Founder and Director) and George Whittam (Director of Technology); Teacher and Performer Pat Fraley; premier Voice Artist Randy Thomas; award-winning Writer, Producer, and Director Jodi Gottlieb; Voice Actor and Coach J. Michael Collins; and keynote speaker for the conference, Voice Casting Director Andrea Romano.
Apart from the opening address, Andrea Romano will also speak in one of the X-Sessions – a session aimed for intermediate and advanced voice actors. Participants may choose from various X-Sessions scheduled on 2nd and 3rd day of the conference. The conference also has two other special sessions scheduled – VO Atlanta Youth Day (Camp Atlanta), directed by Elaine Clark of Voice One, and Spanish Day, organised by Simone Fojgiel.
